The coronavirus pandemic has done little to deter buyers at auction with Canberra recording strong auction clearance rates in recent weeks and the city’s median house price increasing to a record high of $819,090.

While the capital’s median recorded the strongest quarterly growth compared to other capital cities, there is still a range of options available under this threshold.

According to preliminary Domain data, the ACT recorded an auction clearance rate of 82 per cent on Saturday, up from 75 per cent the previous weekend.

There were 41 scheduled auctions on Saturday and of those, 37 reported their results with 31 sold and six passed in.

So if you’re wondering what auction buyers bought this weekend under Canberra’s median house price, here they are:

Sold for the first time in 45 years, this four-bedroom home sits on 1049 square metres of land and is only a short walk to Mount Rogers Nature Reserve.
