Jerrabomberra may not have the catchy “country living, city benefits” tagline its neighbours in Queanbeyan do, but it has long been known as their upmarket counterpart.

Currently split across three sections – The Park, The Heights, and Lakeview – and with South Jerra under construction, the area is expanding steadily.

Jerrabomberra High School is set to open its doors early next year, helping the suburb to remain a desirable location for people from all walks of life.

Eat & Drink

You don’t have to leave Jerrabomberra to find quality hospitality venues day or night. Look no further than Suppeto Collective for your morning coffee.

Spending the afternoon or evening in Jerra? Jerrabomberra Hotel, or the Jerra Tav as it is affectionately known by the locals, is the place to be for a relaxed pub meal.

Order in a juicy burger and chips from Jerrabomberra Takeaway or head to La Cena, where the pasta and pizza selections come in spades.

See & Do

With green spaces surrounding Jerrabomberra, nature has plenty to offer the suburb. The Jerrabomberra Wetlands Walk is a 3.2-kilometre loop and popular among walkers, birdwatchers and bike riders alike.

Jerrabomberra West Nature Reserve is also not far off. If you’re after a slightly longer walk, the top on Mount Jerrabomberra boasts views over Queanbeyan and the surrounding regions.

Failing this, swing down to Flowers with Love, to pick up a bouquet.
