America’s most famous family home is for sale, with the autographs of some of TV’s biggest stars etched forever in the backyard.
The Tanner’s home from beloved 90’s sitcom Full House has been listed in San Francisco for $US6.5 million (about $AU9.8 million).
The cast, which included the late Bob Saget, twins Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin, John Stamos and Dave Coulier, signed concrete blocks which are on display in the backyard and feature in the listing images.
Unusually, there is no façade image of the property in the listing. The façade of the historic terrace at 1709 Broderick Street in the Pacific Heights neighbourhood was used to depict the Tanner’s chaotic but loving family home, and is shown in the iconic Full House opening credits.
The show, which ran for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995, made global household names of the actors.
Listed on US-marketplace Zillow, the four-bedroom home built in 1883 underwent an immaculate renovation in 2019 by respected Canadian architect Richard Landry, whose expertise is in luxury real estate.
Custom elements includes the cabinetry in the handsome navy shaker-style kitchen, where the buyer will find gleaming, high-end Viking appliances and a wine fridge.
The children’s bedroom has sweet bird-print wallpaper and restored fireplaces warm the living rooms and main bedroom suite. A gym is included in the generous floorplan.
Sage green paint in the ground-level lounge reflects the leafy outlook to the famous, undulating San Fran streets.
“This Victorian home caters to the most discerning taste with timeless contemporary sophistication, seamlessly integrating period details with modern upgrades,” the listing, handled by broker Rachel E. Swann of Coldwell Banker Realty, says.
“A fitness area is located inside the garage. A picturesque English garden perfects the home’s charm.”
It was last sold in 2020, according to Zillow’s transaction history.
