Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber list $US15.995 million house in Los Angeles' Beverly Hills

Former supermodel Cindy Crawford and her businessman husband Rande Gerber have listed their Beverly Hills pied-a-terre with price hopes of $US15.995 million ($22.24 million), according to media reports.

The couple live in a coastal retreat in Malibu but snapped up the mid-century modern home closer to downtown Los Angeles about three years ago, Variety reports.

At the time they reportedly paid $US11.625 million from singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, who in turn paid about $US7.5 million in 2015 to purchase it from film producer Gregory Goodman and garden designer Paul Langh.

Extensively renovated by its previous owner, the residence features five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.

It boasts high ceilings, a double living room with bar, media room, and a gourmet kitchen with island.

Outside the home opens to an entertaining area with firepit and pool.

The high-profile couple are no stranger to top-end property deals. They sold a beachfront home in a gated community in Mexico, in conjunction with a pad next door owned by George Clooney, for about $US100 million in 2016.

Two years ago they sold almost half of another Malibu estate for about $US45 million, then added the rest to their home next door.
