Famous fashionista Collette Dinnigan and her hotelier husband Bradley Cocks are putting their Surf and Stable holiday rental property out to pasture.
The four bedroom, two bathroom Milton home, which has been available to rent on Airbnb, offers 10 hectares with a sub-tropical rainforest, an entertainment barn with pizza oven, outdoor bar and fire pit, and even a social media presence – an instagram account with more than 2600 followers.
Records show that Dinnigan bought the property for $970,000 in 2013. They are now asking for $2.95 million, with expressions of interest closing on the March 24.
They also own the property next door.
Cocks cites their most recent purchase, a farm near Mittagong, as one of the reasons behind the sale. “It’s too much to have two properties down here, and one up there,” he told Domain.
The work done on the property included upgrading the roads, installing security gates and water tanks and upgrading the barn.
“It was quite run down when we bought it,” he said, adding that Dinnigan renovated and styled the interior of the home herself.
There’s still room for the new buyer to make their mark, however, with a large grassed area in front of the home perfect for a tennis court, swimming pool or equestrian area.
Dinnigan has made headlines on the property front over the past few years, selling her Watsons Bay home 18 months after she bought it from Matthew Csidei for $6.25 million.
The former Masonic temple had been renovated during her tenure, with bathrooms replaced and a bedroom added, for which she was rewarded when she scored an extra $2.5 million more than what she had paid for it.
She sold her sandstone Paddington pad in 2015, scoring more than $6.5 million before it even had its first open-for-inspection.
Dinnigan and Cocks married in Italy in 2011 after dating for four years.
