Wallis Wu, the daughter of China’s real estate mogul “Frank” Po Sum Wu, has continued her run of high-end property acquisitions of recent years to buy a terrace in Kirribilli for $10 million.

The purchase comes just months after Ms Wu and her mother, Lam Li Wu, bought a luxury apartment in nearby Milsons Point for $8 million and last year consolidated a Bowral weekender for $11.2 million.

Ms Wu’s billionaire father is ranked on the Forbes China Rich List as one of China’s richest people with an estimated wealth of $US1.68 billion ($A2.22 billion). He is the founder and chairman of property giant Central China Real Estate and a member of China’s powerful National People’s Congress.

The 1906-built terrace has been lavishly redesigned and renovated before it was listed for sale by Joseph Suhr.

Ms Wu also sits on the board of the Central China Real Estate, and is an architecture graduate from the University of NSW.

Settlement records show Ms Wu and Vinh Mai, the chief investment officer and head of investor relations at Central China Real Estate, bought the 1906-built terrace on the high side of Kirribilli Avenue following a marketing campaign by Christie’s Ken Jacobs. Mr Jacobs was not contactable at the time of publication.

The five-level terrace was previously owned by Joseph Suhr, a former director of e-business company eLogic and owner of Double Bay luxury furniture retailer Ondene.

Ms Wu first made an impression on Sydney’s high-end property records last year when she and her mother bought the opulent 20-room mansion Bellagio in Bowral with an ornamental lake for $8.2 million and a few months later added the block next door for $3.2 million to create one of the largest privately held estates in the Bowral township.

Earlier this year, mother and daughter bought an apartment in the Mirvac-built Cavill building in Milsons Point for $8 million at auction, well above the $6 million guide.
