Listed as a furnished home on OpenRent, the most bizarre detail is the close proximity of the double bed to the oven.

Steer clear of this property if you consider yourself to be claustrophobic.

A cramped studio flat in Streatham, South London, is available to rent for a hefty monthly fee of £1,146 ($1,970).

Listed as a furnished home on UK site OpenRent, the most bizarre detail is the close proximity of the double bed to the oven.

A mattress is jammed up against one wall, with the kitchen just a few footsteps away.

The bathroom is just as cramped with the toilet located right next to the tiny shower.

Despite being advertised as a furnished property, renters will need to source their own furniture with just a double-sized bed and wooden cabinet on offer.

Interiors are basic with grey walls, timber floorboards and a slanted roof in the multi-use kitchen and bedroom area.

Minimum tenancy is for 12 months and the property is now available to rent.
