With an asking price of $US30,000 (about $AU44,000), the home in the southern Mojave is priced for the quick sale the owner desires, the listing explains.
The address is in Twentynine Palms, at the gateway to the world-famous Joshua Tree National Park.
The brick fireplace rises eerily, with no signs of life surrounding it, and cinematic peaks beyond.
Given the electricity is connected, and power lines are visible in the distance, it could be a site for a motorhome, the listing advises. Alternatively, the slab is ready for a replacement residential build.
The block spans 1.8 hectares, about two-and-a-half hours by car east of Los Angeles, on the books of Joshua Tree Realty.

Although a fast deal is sought, the Zillow listing indicates the property has been on the market since May.
