My, how things have changed since actor Tammin Sursok bought her first home in Sydney as a teenager in 2002.

Sursok was already one of the star cast of Home and Away when she bought a two-bedroom apartment in Balmain’s Dockside complex for $540,000.

Sixteen years later and Sursok is now based in the US where she has a starring role in the hit teen television series Pretty Little Liars, and she and her producer husband Sean McEwen are expecting a sibling in the new year for their daughter, Phoenix.

And much like values in her Sydney hometown, that Balmain apartment she bought  16 years ago has doubled in price.

Not that the 35-year-old from St Ives is expected to be a recipient of sale’s proceeds. After Sursok moved to Los Angeles the apartment was transferred to her parents, Daryl and Julie Sursok in 2014.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment set at the rear of complex overlooking the communal swimming pool has a guide of $1,075,000 through Chad Egan, of Cobden & Hayson.
