She describes herself as a “lone well-dressed wolf” but this much-loved real estate agent is underplaying the impact she’s had on the Brisbane property market.

As one of Queensland’s most respected agents, SPACE Property Agent’s Judi O’Dea has been a firm favourite in the industry, beloved for her trail-blazing approach to real estate and honest, fresh approach.

So it’s not surprising she has been recognised as one of the state’s top 150 sales agents every year since the Ray White Group event was established five years go.

“I love the A List,” Ms O’Dea said.

“I told them they should put me in the antique hall of fame.”

PriceFinder analysts created the list of 150 agents using sales data from 16,500 registered salespeople based on three criteria; number of sales, value of sales and the number of listings for the previous calendar year.

Ms O’Dea is one of only eight real estate agents to have made the ranking for five consecutive years.

“It means a lot to me,” she said.

“You have to say that there’s a lot of hard work which goes into all of those sales, a lot of feeling and care.

“To have statewide recognition means a huge amount to me.”

Having also won the 2015 top Brisbane sales agent accolade in the awards, Ms O’Dea said her secret to success is simple.

“You need ironclad persistence and a great frock,” she laughed.

“I’m a lone well-dressed wolf but there’s no show without Judi.”

Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Brisbane, the event honours the top 1 per cent of real estate sales performers in Queensland.

All 150 agents on the A List will gather together on 21 November 2017 in Brisbane.
