When the hammer falls at The Block auctions in Port Melbourne, buyers will score more than bricks and mortar for their multi-million dollar investment.
Every year, the plush apartments come with six-figures — up to around $120,000 — worth of bits and bobs used to decorate the rooms.

The Newcastle team struggled to choose a singular style for their apartment, but the judges agreed they hit the right note with their breezy terrace. The couple created what is easily the largest apartments in Port Melbourne.
The Geelong schoolteachers and best mates made the surprise move of building a fourth bedroom. Whether it will be an auction day masterstroke is the great unknown. They pretended to be clueless during the reno but the result has plenty of flair.
