They say that quality lies in the detail, and there is no shortage of detail in Griffith’s newest premium development.

Spanish for “embrace”, Abrazo is a combination of one and two-bedroom apartments, carefully designed by the award-winning Guida Moseley Brown Architects and under construction by Consolidated Builders Limited.

Situated on the corner of Leichhardt Street and Wentworth Avenue, Abrazo embraces a minimalistic way of life. There is a choice of two colour palettes which are both neutral in nature, and the living spaces flow seamlessly into each other, with places to cook, dine, and lounge.

“The street face has a slight concave to it, hence the name, and will have both northerly sun and views over the whole inner south, all the way to Parliament House and Black Mountain Tower,” says agent Thomas Bell of Colliers International.

“Large balconies have been tastefully added to allow residents to take advantage of this aspect.”

The surrounds of Abrazo are leafy and relaxed, with underground electrical work meaning no power lines to detract from the street appeal.

Across the road sits a quaint cafe, likely to become residents’ go-to spot for their morning brew. Stroll up Leichardt Street to the old Kingston shops – an ideal spot for a bite to eat. Or head down Wentworth Avenue to the Kingston Foreshore for date night or a drink with friends.

Particular detail has been paid to the energy efficiency of these homes, with double glazing and high quality insulation between each apartment.

“European appliances and tapware have been fitted throughout the apartments, and much consideration has been given smaller aspects like under-mounted double sinks and inset slab bathrooms,” Bell says.

The different product lines will appeal to a range of buyers, like large one-bedroom apartments for first-home buyers or couples, or two-bedroom, two-bathrooms for small families, downsizers or professional couples. Buyers can also purchase additional car spaces if needed.

Construction is due for completion towards the end of 2019.
