Get out the chips and dips, and pour a pinot. A new villain has emerged on The Block. Move over Dea Jolly and Damien from The Omen.
We open with the oldest contestant, Carleen, unleashing on judge Shaynna Blaze for hating on her decor (remember Candlegate from last week?).
“You absolute bogan from nowhere, who’s done good.”
It’s guest bedroom week and while Carleen makes a Shaynna voodoo doll out of this season’s in-trend metallic damask, there’s been some controversial nocturnal action.

No, Ben and Andy didn’t knock off and go on the pull at Marquee nightclub in nearby South Melbourne.
One couple has committed the cardinal sin of firing up power tools after hours.
Angle grinders, drop saws, hammer saws, oh my!
It doesn’t take much to flush out out Dan and Carleen as the culprits.
“The neighbours are little snitches,” she spits.
Karlie is attempting cushion metrics. Numbers, puff ratio, colour synchronicity.
She asks Will if it looks good. Just say yes, for God’s sake, if you know what’s good for you.
The judges arrive and gush over their room.
“The way they have stacked those pillows — it’s hard, it’s actually really hard,” Darren Palmer says. He must hold a doctorate in eiderdown.
Will and Karlie are good-looking, in love, pillow-arranging connoisseurs. Ugh. It’s too much. Next.
In Dan and Carleen’s room, the judges have a coronary.
“It’s a mess, a complete mess. This couple knows nothing,” Neale Whitaker says.
“I would rather see no styling, than bad styling.”
And this little suck-up attempt completely fails.
Andy and Ben have worked out that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, with Shaynna tickled pink over their diamond-shaped feature wall.
And when Neale makes a face like this, although it might not seem it, you are in with a chance.
He’s less enamoured with Julia and Sasha’s room.
“It’s pretty but soul-less,” Neale says (just like all the girls who are going to try it on with Andy and Ben next time they really do go to Marquee).
But Darren’s in a lather.
“I’m mad for that velvet,” he says. “Touch that for me, Neale.”
Neale runs his hands over the bedhead like it’s Channing Tatum’s chest. Let’s give the gents a moment.
Kim and Chris have bounced back from last week’s disaster, in which Neale tried to ride their dunny with the lever paper roll holder.
Flashback…
But it’s not enough, and Will and Karlie snare the win with a score of 27.

Second is Kim and Chris, on 26.5. Andy and Ben come third (23.5), followed by Julia and Sasha (21.5) and Dan and Carleen bring up the rear (17.5).
