Gungahlin’s skyline is undergoing a transformation, starting with the Infinity development scheduled to be completed in the upcoming weeks ready to welcome its new residents in April.
Towering over Gungahlin, the twin towers of Infinity at 20 and 22 storeys are the highest residential buildings in Canberra.
This weekend, Infinity will be hosting a special open day event, providing future residents who have yet to seal the deal and the public a chance to inspect the Geocon development and live the Infinity lifestyle for a day.
The main attraction will be the 50-storey sky park – a recreational area with barbecue facilities and an infinity pool that connects the two towers.
Geocon marketing director Melanie Hindson says this is the only time members of the public will be able to enjoy the sky park.
“You can come and see the completed development for the first time, including the gym and furnished display apartments, as well as the stunning views over Gungahlin,” she says.
There will be live music, food and drinks, competitions and games with a range of prizes including movie tickets, retail vouchers and Brumbies tickets.
The finishing touches are being applied to the Infinity towers with the first settlements of the more than 400 apartments due to start in April.
There are an array of one, two and three-bedroom units still available.
Architecturally designed through a collaboration between Geocon, Peckvonhartel and Spacelab, the apartments feature a contemporary design with spacious balconies and ample room both inside and out.
The public is welcome to attend the free event from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, March 3, at the Infinity development on the corner of Gribble Street and Anthony Rolfe Avenue, Gungahlin.
