Nice for some! Mega star Sylvester Stallone is splashing out on a beach house for his kids, with no mortgage.
The Rocky legend is reportedly in contract talks for a Hamptons estate, which he will pay for with $AU35 million in cash, the New York Post exclusively reports.
Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet Stallone could soon be regulars at the high-end holiday destination, frequented by wealthy residents of Manhattan.
Sources told the newspaper that the contract is yet to be complete for the $US24.95 million estate, so the final sale price cannot be confirmed on public records.
The 77 year-old movie star and his wife, model Jennifer Stallone, have reportedly bought the home from high-profile interior designer James Michael Howard.
The interiors are jewel-toned, including aby blue, emerald and gold. A pool is set in lush lawns and deep porches and terraces are set up for summer parties.
Luxury additions include a cinema room, a spa, a poolside cabana with a wood-burning fireplace and bespoke furniture and finishes.
Although thoroughly modern, the home takes inspiration from decades past, with traditional inclusions such a “drawing room” on the three-level floorplan.
The listing is live on agency website My Hamptons Homes.
The cinema room is not the only aspect of this home made for entertaining. Check out that pool.
Crack open the whiskey cabinet and kick back with a movie in your private theatre.
Nothing has been overlooked – grotto-style pool, Koi pond, cinema room, private beach and jetty.
