The pride of the Inner North, O’Connor is a sought-after suburb for many reasons, including its proximity to the city and stunning tree-lined streets that lead to either O’Connor Ridge or a great coffee spot.

They say a kitchen sells a home. In this house at 4 Grevillea Street, it’s the kitchen, the main suite, the resort-style pool and outdoor entertaining area, the location – and the list goes on and on.

A neatly laid-out kitchen has an abundance of storage, which means a place for everything and minimal appliances on the luxe Caesarstone benchtop.

My favourite part is the cleverly concealed walk-in pantry, which is large enough to house a full-size wine fridge and a second oven.

These extra appliances will be in regular use thanks to the convivial gatherings set to be held in the outdoor entertaining area.

Primed and ready for events from parties to impromptu dinners by the pool with extended family and friends, this is the place where you’ll be spending the majority of your time during summer.

There’s no need to wait for holidays to come around, given it’s in your very own backyard.

Work from home for the afternoon and allow yourself breaks for a quick dip in the pool – it might be the only time you get before the kids take over on the weekend.

Pull a beverage from the adjacent bar fridge and relish your newfound lifestyle.

Should any guests wish to stay a night – or even a few – the lower level boasts a secondary main bedroom and en suite with its own entry.

The primary main suite is upstairs and has an enormous walk-in wardrobe, an elegant en suite and a private balcony with views across O’Connor and beyond.
