A three-bedroom house in London on the verge of collapse will go to auction for £450,000 ($AU876,000).
The house is currently propped up by old scaffolding, and is in an unlivable condition.
Construction debris litters the garden, which is separated from the public by a temporary timber fence.
Inside, the house is in a sorry state. Pieces of broken plaster are scattered over the floor from where the ceiling fell in.
In many places, the paint and plaster on the walls has chipped away completely, leaving the brickwork exposed.
In the kitchen, cheerful teapot-printed wallpaper from the property’s heyday as a family home is now peeling away. Water pipes and electrical cords are exposed from where kitchen cabinetry has been ripped away.
The dilapidated property will go to auction with Auction House London, which has playfully advertised it as “fresh air included, complete roof not required!”
Agency representative Jake Reuben describes the house as a “fantastic investment opportunity in Palmers Green”.
“As you can see, this property is in need of full refurbishment so it’s really a blank canvas,” he says in a promotional video.
The property has planning permission to be demolished and replaced with two three-bedroom flats.
