A thriving resort located in a “serene natural environment” is for sale in the US state of Georgia.
There is just one catch. The resort, set on six hectares of land with a clubhouse, pool and a variety of cabins, RV sites and camping ground, is for nudists!
A listing for the property says the “family nudist resort” offers a “unique lifestyle experience catering to a discerning clientele seeking relaxation, freedom and community.”
“Discover a rare opportunity to own and operate a thriving family nudist resort nestled in a serene natural environment,” the listing says.
The “well-established resort” – known as Serendipity Park Nudist Resort – is located in Cleveland, Georgia, which is known as the birthplace of the Cabbage Patch doll.
Its secluded location ensures privacy and tranquility for the owners and guests.
“As you pass through the gated entry, a winding road takes you to the heart of the community,” the listing says.
“The clubhouse and pool area where members can relax and unwind.
“Take a cool, refreshing dip in the swimming pool or seek rejuvenation in the hot tub or sauna.”
Guests can sit back and relax at the shaded poolside pavilion, grab a bite to eat at the on-site cafe, socialise in the community dining room or lounge, work out in the gym, or “explore potential for growth through additional services, events and development.”
“A highlight of the property is the expansive Blue Creek that borders the property, offering a peaceful backdrop for leisurely nature walks,” the listing says.
The resort, which has a 4.5-star rating on TripAdvisor, offers long- and short-term rentals in one of the six fully equipped cabins, 33 RV sites, three pop-up camper sites and two ‘primitive’ camping fields.
A guide on the resort’s website says while Serendipity Park is a “clothing comfortable facility,” meaning guests do not have to disrobe as soon as they arrive, “everyone is expected to be nude, weather permitting, and total nudity is always required in the pool and the spa.”
The property is being sold by Brittany Hall of Southern Landmark Realty, LLC for US$1,799,000 (AU$2.9 million).
A post on the Zillow Gone Wild Instagram page has drawn a big response from followers, with many unable to resist leaving a cheeky comment.
“Huge potential for growth,” wrote one, while another said, “If those walls could talk … They’d probably be in therapy.”
“My first thought was ‘That’s a lot of wood,’ which… I guess makes sense,” joked another.
“Beautiful setting, but no amount of bleach could make me buy that place,” wrote another.
