Hollywood’s rumoured new couple, Bradley Cooper and Huma Abedin, are making headlines for their private suspected romance.
The pair were introduced by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and have been enjoying quietly dating the past few months, according to Page Six.
Abedin is the former long-time deputy chief of staff to Hillary Clinton, and recently finalised a divorce from Anthony Weiner, a disgraced former New York congressional representative.
Now, it’s been revealed that the house Abedin purchased amid the divorce proceedings was listed on the rental market in June for USD $35,000 ($51,800) per month, only a couple of months after sources say she began dating Cooper.
Abedin bought the five-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom East Hampton residence for USD $1.15 million ($1.7 million) in November 2020, records show.
When it was first offered for rent on June 3, Abedin was asking USD $25,000 per month. But in July, the price increased to USD $35,000, per the listing.
Built in 1992, the home features newly renovated bathrooms, a heated pool, outdoor shower, and beautiful patio area.
The living room includes a fireplace and the eat-in kitchen has newly re-stained cabinets, new Caesarstone countertops and new stainless-steel appliances, the listing explains.
The primary suite enjoys a recently updated bathroom including marble-topped vanity and marble flooring.
Abedin has made headlines for years thanks to her disgraced ex-husband, Weiner. He resigned in 2011 after it was revealed he’d sent inappropriate messages to young women on Twitter.
A second sexting scandal shook the pair in 2013, shortly after Weiner attempted a political comeback and began running for New York City mayor. He had sent explicit photos under an alias to a then-22-year-old woman a little over a year after he resigned from Congress.
After initially standing by her husband, Abedin made the decision to divorce Weiner in 2017 when it was discovered he had sexted another woman, including sending a picture while he was lying in bed with his young son.
Weiner plead guilty to sending sexually explicit texts to a minor in 2016 and was sentenced to 21 months in prison. The two share a son.
