A home design will stun with its unique configuration.
The Anywhere House in the US state of Montana is the creation of UK firm Whitaker Studio, and is a cluster of units “daisy-chained together”, as stated on an official press release.
Founder of Whitaker Studio, James Whitaker, explains each unit has “two or more openings”, with modules bridged by timber battens and floorboards.
Depending on the client, the units can be arranged in various orientations and combinations.
“There are an infinite number of possibilities with how many units you can daisy chain together,” Whitaker says.
Whitaker and his firm are working towards building the home on a lake in Montana, and have shared incredible computer-generated images shared on their website.
The client requested a “robust space for coats, boots and wet dogs” that would “sit between quieter and more private spaces”, including the bedrooms and bathroom.
Whitaker Studio have so far designed three unique configurations with the goal to ensure that each looks different.
Although the shape of each unit is predetermined, clients can select their own external and internal fittings.
Computer-generated images reveal units with angular ceilings, concrete floors, skylights and an expansive use of glass.
The colour palettes vary with shades of beige and blonde wood to charcoal tones.
