The owners of the Tribeca home have decked out the roof space with enough amenity to never really have to go inside.

New York City never sleeps and here, above the skyline, is the ultimate all-night party pad.

This penthouse would be the clubhouse leader for having the best rooftop in the world.

It was previously rented out for $85,000 a month and is fresh on the elite-level market.

In a city where residential space is at a premium, the owners of the Tribeca home have decked out the roof space with enough amenity to never really have to go inside.

For US$30 million ($41.48 million), the four-bedroom apartment at 1 North Moore Street has an al fresco zone with a color-changing infinity pool and spa, a fireplace right in front to offer warmth during a dip, a 90-inch outdoor TV, music surround system, outdoor shower, built-in kitchen with a grill and side burner, plus a sink, ice maker and refrigerator.

Outside is mind-boggling but the interior is a big flex, too.

Five fridges are scattered throughout the property, plonked in prime places to ensure the party can migrate from room to room.

The main bedroom has a suede ceiling, a bar and a digital steam shower. In the kitchen is a dishwasher dedicated only to wine glasses.

The vendor is British investor Simon Posen, according to Dirt.com, and he spent $8 million on the property – as an early investor in the building, which comprises six units – and then splashed another $5 million to kit it out with all of the above.

Agency Platinum Properties is in charge of the campaign.
