Located opposite Manhattan's world-famous Central Park, Jackson's luxury abode is spread over nearly 200-square-metres of internal living space on the 34th floor of the desirable One Central Park West condominium complex.

Celebrated singer-songwriter Janet Jackson listed her longtime NYC home for sale back in April with a bold USD $8.995 million ($12.5 million) asking price.

Now, it seems Jackson could be about to have her Got ‘Til It’s Gone moment, with a contract finally pending on the spacious digs with stunning views of the NYC skyline.

Boasting three bedrooms, the arresting digs benefit from several grand features not normally attributable to apartment living.

These boons include a charming entrance gallery, expansive open-plan living and dining room, floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere and three-metre tall ceilings that emphasise space and grandeur.

The home’s master suite, presumably Jackson’s bedroom, is more than fit for a celebrity of her calibre, with the commodious room offering a generous walk-in robe and a fab ensuite with his and hers sinks and a massive marble tub.

Overlooking the nearly 3,500,000-square-metres of lush parklands that make up Central Park, the residence also bequeaths occupants with iconic, prepossessing vistas across the park and onto Manhattan’s iconic skyline.

Amenities aren’t just reserved to the apartment either, with One Central Park West offering a suite of opulent advantages such as a 24-hour concierge service, housekeeping, sizeable gym, spa and pool, a business centre and even valet parking.

According to Mansion Global, the 55-year-old purchased the home way back in 1998, paying USD $2.8 million ($3.9 million) at the time.

So, if the What Have You Done for Me Lately megastar gets anywhere near her asking price, she’ll make a tidy profit on her New York City beauty.
