Jennifer Lopez’s former fiance Alex Rodriguez rents Hamptons summer house near singer's own getaway

She’s still Jenny from the Block – and her former flame has moved into a house only a few blocks away.

Jennifer Lopez’s former fiance Alex Rodriguez has rented a summer house in the Hamptons down the road from the singer’s own pad, Page Six reports.

He’s reportedly looking at property to buy in Manhattan and the nearby holiday towns of the Hamptons, but in the meantime will stay at a grand Bridgehampton rental.

It’s only a three-minute drive from J.Lo’s own holiday house, where the then-couple spent part of last summer with their children.

A-Rod’s new digs come with seven bedrooms, eight full and three half bathrooms, a heated pool and spa, a waterfall and a spring-fed pond.

The master suite comes with its own fireplace, private deck and double-vanity bathroom, while all the guest bedrooms have en suites. There’s plenty of living space, such as a living room – also with a fireplace – a formal dining room, and an eat-in kitchen that leads out to the patio.

J.Lo’s own Hamptons home has been part of the star’s property portfolio since she paid almost $US10 million for it in 2013. It features a pool, sauna, steam room, theatre, eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and one half bathroom.

It is just one of many residences she owns, with others in Los Angeles, Manhattan, Malibu and Miami.

Awkward? Perhaps not yet – J.Lo has not been sighted in the Hamptons yet this summer, according to Page Six. Instead, she has been spending time in Malibu and Los Angeles, rekindling her romance with another ex, Ben Affleck.
