Karin Adcock has sold her $9 million Newport residence to spend more time at her Hunter Valley winery.

Pandora Jewellery founder Karin Adcock scored a sold sticker on her $9 million waterfront residence in Newport on Wednesday night, offering a much-needed fillip to prestige vendors locally.

The seven-bedroom mansion with three-car garage, private beach and jetty first hit the market last September with initial $10 million hopes given Adcocks plans to spend more time at her Hunter Valley winery Winmark.

But it was relisted two weeks ago for $9 million to $10 million by Noel Nicholson, of Ray White Prestige Palm Beach, who would only confirm that the property had sold.

The waterfront Newport property last sold in 2009 for $8.1 million by Quiksilver Europe founder Harry Hodge.

Independent sources say it is expected to have sold for close to the $9 million mark.

The almost 3000-square-metre property last traded in 2009 for $8.1 million when sold by Surfing NSW deputy chairman and Quiksilver Europe founder Harry Hodge.

Adcock was expected to retain a Newport home for her visits to Sydney after she bought a non-waterfront house with four bedrooms and a pool on nearby Yachtsmans Paradise for $3.85 million last August.

However, despite settling on that purchase in February, Adcock has listed the property for $4 million, again with Ray White’s Noel Nicholson.

The Yachtsmans Paradise house is up for $4 million.

Adcock introduced the Danish jewellery brand to Australia via her garage in Avalon in 2004, but about eight years later sold her stake in the company.

Then three years ago Adcock bought what was formerly Pooles Rock winery in Broke for $2.1 million, rebranding it Winmark soon after. She expanded the winery last year when an adjoining property was added for $1.3 million.
