After nearly two gruelling years, the actor has finally found a buyer for his Los Angeles home.
Carrey first listed his five-bedroom Brentwood house for sale in February 2023 with a hefty price tag of $US28.9 million ($AU47.8 million).
The Hollywood actor – who is known for roles in Dumb and Dumber, The Mask, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas – originally bought the house for just $US3.8 million in the 1990s.
The house has finally gone into contract after 22 months on the market, Mansion Global reports.
It was most recently listed for $US19.75 million ($AU31.7 million) – substantially lower than Carrey’s initial asking price.
The property sits on two acres of private land in the affluent Los Angeles neighbourhood of Brentwood.
The five-bedroom, nine-bathroom home was first built in 1951 in the California ranch style.
Inside, the house has high vaulted ceilings and polished brick and hardwood floors. Tall floor-to-ceiling windows, French doors and skylights let in plenty of natural light.
Tiled vintage fireplaces are a feature of many of the rooms, including a swanky dark timber bathroom.
The home also comes with an art deco-style cinema with mohair fabric walls and a popcorn room.
Outside, there is a tennis court, infrared sauna, steam room, waterfall pool, spa, and a private yoga studio.
There is also a separate guesthouse that could be turned into a gym.
The home is listed with Janelle Friedman and Graham J. Larson of Sotheby’s International Realty.
