Beleaguered pop star Justin Timberlake has doubled his money on a mega property deal, while his high-profile DUI charge hangs over this head.

The Memphis-born, Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and actor put the colossal, 126-acre parcel on the market in Tennessee close to a year ago, seeking $US10 million (about $AU15,029,000).

The listing has been wiped from online, but a YouTube video of the campaign when it was last on the market shows its sweeping natural beauty.

Timberlake copped a discount, selling at $US8 million (about $AU12,023,000), but it is double what he paid for the block in 2015, according to the Robb Report.

There are limitations on what can be done with the address, 30 minutes from the city of Nashville. It is protected by The Land Trust for Tennessee.

Timberlake, who is married to actor Jessica Biel, with whom he shares sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4, bought the land from local philanthropist and preservationist Aubrey Preston.

Preston told local media at time of the deal, nine years ago, that she and the What Goes Around…Comes Around singer bonded over their Tennessee roots.

Preston subdivided her block of land in an affluent neighbourhood, and sold Timberlake a portion, which includes spring-fed dams, nature trails, woodlands, hills and pastures.

The listing explained that the block has two entrances – one, for horse trailers and construction crews, and another across a creek, according to the Robb Report.

“Both of us share that love of Tennessee and enjoyed how we grew up, on land,” Preston told The Tennessean in 2015. “We want to do our part to save that for future generations, and our kids. That’s how we got to know each other.”

Agent Tom Sullivan of Covey Rise Properties looked after the listing.

The $12 million pay day comes soon after Timberlake hit the stage for his first concert since his arrest for alleged drunk driving was made public.

On stage in United Center in Chicago – on a leg of his world tour – the 43-year-old thanked his fans. “It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” he said.

“I know sometimes I’m hard to love – but you keep on loving me, and I love you right back.”

Timberlake was arrested on June 18 in Sag Harbor, New York, and released after posting bail. Police allege he ran a stop sign in a BMW and drifted out of his lane, before being pulled over by an officer who was too young to recognise him.
