Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has called it quits on a sprawling Los Angeles estate after deciding to do the same with her second marriage.
Cuoco and second husband, Karl Cook, famously lived separately for the first two years of the marriage. However, when he pandemic hit, things changed for the couple and they went 50/50 in this Hidden Hills mansion.
They wound up living together as stay-at-home orders came into effect with The Flight Attendant actress and her rancher beau – son of tech billionaire Scott Cook – “forced” to quarantine together. The duo “realized we like each other,[sic]” Cuoco later laughed.
Sadly, the happiness was short lived, with the pair deciding to go their separate ways last September.
The Hidden Hills home never publicly hit the market, but records reveal it has unsurprisingly been sold for a hefty $US 16.2 million ($21.8 million), according to Dirt.
It’s a sweet profit margin for the former duo, who paid $US 12 million ($16 million) for the newly built estate two years ago. Although, they likely spent a pretty penny adding their custom touches to the place.
While there are no listing photos of the home, Cuoco often shared Instagram pictures from the sprawling modern-farmhouse manse – mostly from the gorgeous backyard, which includes a vast concrete patio encircling a pool and spa, adjoining cabana, sun loungers and alfresco dining areas.
The property spans 1020sqm of luxurious living space, including six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, according to tax records.
Features include fireplaces, exposed beams, a wine room and in-built bar off one living area, huge sliding glass doors, a floating staircase and gourmet sky-lit kitchen.
The contemporary charcoal and cream home with stone accents sits on a generous 1.54-acre lot, which includes a separate guesthouse, charming surrounding gardens and a big grassy lawn.
Cuoco, a keen equestrian, still holds title to a 40-acre horse ranch in a particularly peaceful part of Ventura County, according to Dirt.
