Kath and Kim house in Patterson Lakes for sale - again

If you are dreaming of an “effulent” life, just imagine cracking open a “cardonnay” here.

The Patterson Lakes house made famous in the hit comedy Kath & Kim is back on the market.

No. 4 Lagoon Place failed to trade last year, after 244 days on the market, and has been relisted this week with a new agency, Ray White.

The fictional home of Kath Day-Knight and her great hunk of spunk husband Kel, the local butcher, is expected to fetch more than $1.3 million.

It has direct water access and a boat mooring, four bedrooms and lots of original fittings from the ABC series.

A high fence was erected during filming, which blocked the water views.

The first open for inspection is at 1pm on Saturday. Ray White’s Stephen Hill is tasked with the private sale.

The vendors bought the house in 2014 for $1,305,000, according to Domain Group data.

With its canals and mini harbours, and large homes, Patterson Lakes attracts cashed-up boaties, but it’s often a forgotten prestige postcode.

Although the backdrop for a TV show about aspirational family, there isn’t much about Patterson Lakes that’s bogan.

The median is $1,725,000 and two days ago, a four-bedroom waterfront home with a pool sold for $2.3 million, which is just shy of the suburb record.
