Hollywood heart-throb Liam Hemsworth has sold his fire-ravaged Malibu estate for $4.94 million, according to media reports.
The 2.99-hectare property, once famously occupied by the Australian actor and his former wife Miley Cyrus, was razed to the ground in the 2018 Californian wildfires.
Variety reports that an unidentified buyer spent $US3.6 million, about half the original purchase price of $US6.8 million that Hemsworth paid for the property in 2014.
Hemsworth, star of The Hunger Games films, bought it from singer/songwriter Matthew Wilder.
Nothing more than a burned-out concrete foundation and turquoise-coloured pool remains of the coastal home formerly set on rolling green hills.
It was once home to a three-bedroom, three-bedroom 1950s ranch-style house.
It was renovated to include a recording studio, detached writing studio and a concrete barn.
Nothing was ever rebuilt on the property despite records showing approved development applications for new construction, according to Variety.
Hemsworth continued to live in Malibu, living with his brother Chris nearby, before that property was also listed on the market earlier this year.
