A pair of homeowners created a bespoke “puppy condo” for their five dogs to enjoy.
Their six-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate in Texas is set in an exclusive gated community, and is designed to imitate a historic English manor house.
The current owners spent $US5.5 million ($AU8.2 million) transforming it from its original 1990s state into the contemporary lakeside home it is today.
One feature that sets the home apart from the crowd is the “puppy condo”.
Owner Ethan Lyell and his partner converted a storage space into a living wing for their two Daschunds, two Jack Russels, and one Great Pyrenees, Mansion Global reports.
“We wanted to build something where the pups had their own space,” Lyell said.
“They have their pillows and blankets with a big window that looks out into the garden, and they have their own television. They’re very spoiled.”
Each dog has its own individual apartment in the “puppy condo”.
Outside, there is plenty of space for the dogs to run around in, with two acres of land in total.
There are over 5,000 trees, shrubs, and perennial plants dotted throughout the gardens, according to the listing.
Inside, the house has been finished to a high spec, with numerous fireplaces, chandeliers, and four-poster beds.
The property is on the market for $US6,950,000 ($AU10,350,000). Damon and Megan Williamson of the Agency are the listing agents.
