Mariah Carey is welcoming in a brand new chapter.
The singing diva has listed her sprawling estate in Sandy Springs, Atlanta for a cool $US6.5 million ($4.6 million).
Listed by Shanna Bradley of Ansley Real Estate Christie’s International, Mariah has only held the property for a year.
The five-time Grammy award winner splashed $US5.65 million ($8.2 million) on the nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom mansion, late last year, according to Dirt.
It’s no surprise, however, that Mariah is keen to move on, with the property having been broken into in July this year while the star was on vacation. Three suspects were arrested last month.
Built in 1951, the Southern Colonial mansion occupies 4.2 acres and is very grandeur.
Standout features include a recording booth, plush movie theatre, gym, outdoor pool and pool house, tennis court and manicured lawns.
The gourmet-style kitchen is a cook’s dream with a large marble island and top-notch appliances.
Mariah added in her own touch of flair by painting several of the rooms pink, and settling on a pink rug for the grand foyer and crystal chandeliers.
The rest of the interior aesthetic is luxurious and pared back with polished timber floorboards, white walls, wood-paneled walls and plush neutral-hued drapes.
Mariah is not the first A-list star to have resided in the mansion, with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson having previously leased it a few years back.
