Medical power couple Louella and Tony Grattan-Smith have a cure for the midwinter blues. Their five-bedroom pavilion-style residence in Glenquarry in the Southern Highlands has hit the market with an asking price of $3.75 million.

Louella, a doctor, and Tony, also a doctor and partner at South East Radiology, performed major surgery on the original brick veneer home, engaging architect Howard Tanner to oversee an extension and renovation.

It wasn’t just the house that received a fresh new look – the boundaries were also re-drawn, bringing the new parcel to a bucolic five acres, including an orchard and chicken coop. John Renouf of Drew Lindsay Real Estate is handling the sale.

The Grattan-Smiths aren’t moving far. They’ve hired architect Luke Moloney to design their new residence next door.

Moloney worked on the design of White Rabbit Gallery owner,  Judith Nielson’s cornucopia of Chinese art, when he was with Smart Design Studio. He branched out into private practice in 2015.

Meanwhile, in nearby Burrawang village, The Old Post Office has just been listed.

Asha Cugati, an executive at Citi, and her husband Matt Andrews, who co-owns the entertainment agency Marquee Management, are hoping the photogenic three-bedroom cottage will fetch $1.55 million – nearly double what they shelled out three years ago.

Michael Maloney of Richardson & Wrench Bowral is on the case.

London-based entrepreneur Graham Hellier is once again on the hunt for a buyer for his lavish three-storey “Skyhouse” atop the Cove building in The Rocks.

The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom penthouse in the Harry Seidler-designed tower offers panoramic harbour views, including from the in-ground spa on one of the terraces.

Hellier paid about $10 million for the sprawling city pad in 2006, two years after the building opened.

Oliver Stillman of Sydney Sotheby’s International Realty is marketing the property, with hopes in the region of $21 million.

Crunching the numbers, the per-square-metre price of $43,000 is roughly half the cost of some of the new off-the-plan boltholes on offer in Circular Quay and Barangaroo.

Hellier, who made his millions in the personnel industry, now runs an online education empire and has an MBE for his philanthropic work.

He’s also searching for a buyer for his eight-bedroom home on a deep waterfront block overlooking Pittwater at Avalon Beach.

Andrew Mappin and David Watson of LJ Hooker Avalon are quoting a guide of $8 million.

It’s been a busy few months for fashion-designer-turned-food-blogger Stephanie Conley-Buhre.

Not only does she have a new cookbook coming out (slow-braised pork tacos and corn salsa, anyone?), rumour has it she and venture capitalist husband Oskar Buhre have sold their mouth-watering Queen Anne-meets-Luigi Rosselli home in Darling Point.

Though the paper trail doesn’t give any clues as to the buyer, the five-bedroom pad overlooking the harbour was listed for sale via expressions of interest, which closed in June.

Agency by Alison Coopes was quoting $16 million.

The socialite couple are believed to have been pipped to the purchase of a six-bedroom estate with “Mediterranean overtones” in Bellevue Hill.

Ben Collier of The Agency sold that property for UniLodge founder Jane Hewitt and funds manager Gary Symons for about $16.2 million.

They had bought it in 2013 from APN News & Media chairman Peter Cosgrove for $11.71 million.
