Former Brisbane Lions great Michael Voss has sold his Coorparoo home for $2,575,000.

The triple premiership captain and Brownlow medallist listed his Marriott Street masterpiece earlier this year with James Curtain of Place Estate Agents Bulimba, marketing it as a “majestic and stately” family home.

The house went to auction in March and after bidding reached $2,518,000, further negotiations saw it settle last week for $2,575,000.

Known as “Nu Haven”, the single-level corner residence situated in one of Coorparoo’s most sought-after pockets was the most expensive property sold in Brisbane last week.

Set on a sprawling 1303 square metre block, the ultra-private estate is designed in a classic “U” configuration around a stunning pool and features multiple living areas with city views, high ceilings, wood fireplace and arched French windows.

The extravagant master suite features a parent’s retreat with lounge and bar area, spacious walk-in robe/dressing room and access to both the pool area and a private front deck.

Voss, who joined the Port Adelaide Football club as midfield coach in 2014, has made the permanent move to South Australia with his wife, Donna, and their three children.
