A British expat who says she “deserves” the mansion her dad is building for her has addressed her critics.
Vivienne came to London from Cambodia to study, while her father continues construction on the lavish property which will soon be hers.
The young woman uploaded a video to her TikTok @viviennethatxoxo, which has been liked more than 887,000 times and shared more than 45,000 times, explaining why she has high standards in life. It is because, she says, her dad is building her a mansion.
The young woman later confronted her critics online, explaining she did not expect the property confession to ‘blow up’.
The viral video includes stills of the build, draped in scaffolding. It is a colossal concrete shell with decorative moldings, colonnades on the façade, high ceilings, dark timer joinery and a sweeping double staircase.
Some of her followers remarked that the property was closer in style to Buckingham Palace than a mere mansion.
The caption of the video says: “I’m going back home once the mansion is done – I deserve to be a nepo baby and not working hard to pay rent in somebody else’s country”.
The family used to live in a villa in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh, she said, revealing her dad sold the villa because his dream was to build her mansion.
Vivienne explains she a business owner and is also working in London. “When I made that video, I did not expect it to blow up,” she said in a follow-up clip.
In the video explaining her background, she said she was embarrassed to receive a BMW Z for her first car.
On others noticing her wealth, she said: “It’s so shocking to me, because I never really see myself as rich, plus I am so used to this lifestyle, I never really see it”.
