There are only four, two and three-bedroom townhomes remaining in Watson Life.

Watson Life, a masterful collection of residences near Mount Majura Estate, has been designed for just that, life.

There are only four, two and three-bedroom townhomes remaining in the boutique development, which are being described as bringing “a breath of fresh air to Canberra’s real estate”.

Local developers Antalija Developments are constructing the homes, while award-winning designers DJAS have been given the task of heading Life’s architecture and interior design.

The colour scheme is founded on light and dark neutral colour palettes.

With a focus on using both natural and durable materials, the facade showcases concrete renders combined with dark cladding and linear timber battens to create a durable and visually stunning finish.

The design of the interior spaces is slightly pared back to ensure a sense of everyday comfort and liveability.

The colour scheme is founded on light and dark neutral colour palettes and residents will also delight in being able to fill the homes with personalised touches, unique to their own lives.

Bedrooms feature full-height windows to let in ample natural light.

“The fixtures and finishes are of the quality that a buyer expects from an architecturally designed home in the Inner North,” says agent Justin Ingram.

“The materials have been selected to give the project a modern feel, without the ongoing maintenance.”

Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and windows looking out to the courtyards and surrounding landscape produce a light and airy quality and replace the need for any over-the-top design elements.

Living spaces enjoy a leafy outlook to courtyards and the surrounding landscape.

“The design is so unique. I don’t recall seeing anything similar,” says Ingram.

“So many developments are just boxes, but Watson Life has been designed with the buyer in mind.”

With a particular focus on space, the townhomes will appeal to anyone looking to upgrade from apartment living or downsize, while still maintaining enough space to breathe.

“The two-bedroom en suite home has over 100 square metres of living space. That is the size of many of the three-bedroom townhouses in Gungahlin,” Ingram says.

While Life is situated roughly five kilometres from Canberra’s CBD (and a short bike ride or trip down the Light Rail Corridor will get you there in just minutes), there isn’t much of a need to venture outside of the neighbourhood for reasons apart from work and … well, that’s about it.

The townhomes will appeal to anyone looking to upgrade from apartment living or downsize.

Everything you need is right at your doorstep including the grocers, cafes, schools and the Dickson shopping precinct.

Given sustainable, local and seasonal food shopping are on the rise, it’s also worth noting the Capital Region Farmers Market is no more than a two-minute drive away. Held at Exhibition Park in Canberra each Saturday, the markets feature freshly picked, grown and hand-crafted produce from more than 100 stallholders.

With expected completion due later this year, a home at Watson Life could change your life sooner than you think.
