Lawson’s infill location places it close to Belconnen, the city and various government departments.
Botanica buyers Karl Schwab and Grace Huang say this makes the suburb a great choice for them now, but it will continue to pay off with long-term capital gains potential.
“It is next to the University of Canberra and not too far from the Australian National University, close to Westfield as well as the city, various government departments and offices, the lake and there is a new hospital that is getting built – which is all great for long-term investment,” Grace says.
Karl and Grace, who have purchased a triple-storey three-bedroom terrace home at Botanica, say they loved the design of the development and its attention to detail.
“When we first looked at the development, we could tell the developers had thought of absolutely everything, right down to the fine details,” Karl says.
“They are beautiful, natural light-filled terraces with amazing views, which also offer a private courtyard and elevated deck. With their open-plan living and stunning internal features, it really creates a fantastic environment for both entertaining and the family.”
Attractive inclusions such as the features walls and colour scheme, combined with practical features such as Bosch appliances and ducted heating and cooling also made the development stand out.
Grace says they did a lot of research on the builders and developers involved in the Botanica, which made her feel comfortable with the purchase.
“Project Coordination is our builder, who has won an impressive number of Master Builders Association awards,” Grace says.
