A family home in New Zealand has seen Pamela Anderson walk through its doors.

The three-bedroom, one-bathroom property at 27 Saxon Street, Waterview, is for sale and is where the Baywatch icon filmed a TV commercial for Woodstock Bourbon and Cola.

Anderson stars as herself in the 2014 commercial. The blonde bombshell was chosen to highlight Woodstock Bourbon’s American heritage.

The retro property’s capital value is estimated to be $2.3 million. In New Zealand, a property’s capital value is the probable price that would be paid for a property at the valuation date. This is determined by local council every three years or so.

In the commercial, Anderson wears skimpy black attire and is preened to perfection. She is seen by the pool on the alfresco patio and cracks open a can of the beverage.

The home is a 1960’s, mid-century modern build that’s set to change hands after an incredible 61 years of family ownership. As stated on the listing, the vendors are transitioning into retirement.

Mid-century modern is a common architectural style where homes are typically one level, have a flat roof and a minimalistic aesthetic.

Interiors throughout the home for sale are a nod to the 1960’s with wood-panelled walls, patterned wallpaper and traditional brickwork which can be seen at the bar area.

Terrazzo tiles also offer subtle pops of colour and a touch of flair to the space.

“Irresistible attraction for any family, upsizer and of course, avid entertainers,” the listing says.

The property is on the books of Kane Taylor and Scott Bartlett of Ray White Ponsonby and is scheduled to go to auction at 11am on November 19.
