The renovated Victorian has a picture-perfect verandah, decorative hallway arches and ceiling rosettes, expanses of polished floorboards and a rear deck for entertaining off open-plan dining and living.

Camplin, who won gold in 2002 at Salt Lake City in Utah, told Domain it was her first home and holds special memories, including getting married to husband Oliver and having children.

“It’s a really nice fusion of inner-city living and leafy residential,” Camplin said.

“We can walk out the door and we are in the city in 15 minutes on a tram, or we can nip to Bridge Road for brekkie.”

Kay & Burton’s Sam Wilkinson is the agent going for gold at auction on October 24.

Price expectations are north of $2 million.
