Osher Gunsberg looks like he already has his hands full juggling the love-life hopes of a bevy of single woman vying for the heart of The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew, but behind the scenes the reality show presenter is also planning to upgrade his Sydney home.
The host of the Network Ten’s reality television series has kickstarted the plans by putting his one-bedroom investment apartment in Bondi Beach up for an August 27 auction.
The loft-style spread with a car space and shared rooftop terrace was purchased by Gunsberg when he was hosting Australian Idol in 2006 for a then record of $550,000 for The Precinct building.
At the time Gunsberg was already a Bondi Beach home owner, having purchased a studio apartment at the southern end of the beach for $325,000 a year earlier, and off-loading it in 2010 for $410,000.
Albert Sassoon, of Belle Property Double Bay, said Gunsberg was selling his investment property to upgrade to a house locally.
A guide of about $1 million has been set for the one-bedroom, one-bathroom spread.
