Pop star P!nk buys beachfront Malibu, California holiday house for $17.81 million

You’d better get this party started: pop star P!nk has bought a stunning holiday house in the beach town of Malibu, outside Los Angeles.

The singer paid $US13.7 million ($17.81 million) for the beachfront pad, or $US200,000 over the asking price, according to Dirt.com, a sign of hot competition.

A recent renovation is a key drawcard – the latest trade reportedly marks a $5 million gain from the home’s last sale in October 2020.

It’s not the first time it’s been owned by music royalty. The beachfront villa was sold by an LA dentist, who in turn bought it from a former wife of a Russian ice hockey star, who bought it from singer-songwriter Barry Manilow.

The getaway offers 180-degree ocean views through floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area, leading out to a balcony overlooking the sand and sea.

With five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the home features a new kitchen with bruised gold fixtures, according to the listing.

Its spacious courtyard offers room to entertain, with a bonus spa. And there’s a guest house with its own outlook over the water.

The pop princess spends most of her time on a remote ranch in California but has held a variety of holiday homes, Dirt.com reports, from an estate she sold in 2016 for $US12.5 million to a rental in the gated community of Malibu Colony.
