A property with a weird mural of the world’s most famous brothers has hit the market in London.
The Brighton house is splashed with a portrait of Prince William and Prince Harry, which extends two-storeys and across the front doors of the terrace building.
It features the heir and the spare in what looks like camouflaged gear, as characters from the TV series Breaking Bad. The words “Breaking Up”, splashed next to them, play off the tensions that have manifested between the pair.
The listing for the Viaduct Road house doesn’t make any mention of the mural, instead focusing on the rental income, bay windows, storage, sensor lights and the position near transport and universities.
It spans three levels, including a sunny attic bedroom, a kitchen with crisp subway tiles, fireplaces in several rooms (although they are boarded up and not operational) and a private garden behind high fencing.
The property is tenanted until August next year and the rental stream is £2,700 per month, or about $AU5200.
The asking price is £425,000, or about $AU830,000, 90 minutes south of London, on the coast.
The words “we are the danger” are dabbed on the fence in white and red. This is a riff off a Walter White quote from Breaking Bad, in which his character says: “I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger.”
Agency John Hilton is managing the campaign.
The laneway side of this inner-city terrace makes a contribution to the streetscape.
The living room of this contemporary beach house, on the Mornington Peninsula, is graced by a large mural.
