There’s a reason why chef luminaries like Clare Smyth, Matt Moran and Brent Savage chose Barangaroo to further showcase their considerable talents.

Sydney’s newest harbourfront precinct is home to beautiful parkland, the Cutaway cultural venue and Crown Sydney, and has quickly become one of the city’s hottest dining destinations.

“Barangaroo has the best of Sydney’s stunning natural environment with a lively new precinct, and is home to the best of premium waterfront dining,” says Leanne Boyle, Lendlease head of urban regeneration.

“From hole-in-the-wall coffee bars to high-end restaurants, the food culture in Barangaroo continues to evolve with innovation and style, driven by the best up-and-coming restaurateurs and attracting the world’s most renowned chefs.”

From the innovative dishes at Smyth’s Oncore to the signature cocktails at Moran’s rooftop venue Smoke and the fresh seafood at Savage’s Cirrus Dining, Barangaroo is a foodie’s dream locale.

And for residents of One Sydney Harbour, Lendlease’s aspirational residential development, the dream is literally on the doorstep.

The chance to be among One Sydney Harbour’s 799 households is proving compelling, with more than 80 per cent of the 637 dwellings released in the first two towers, Residences One and Residences Two, already sold.

The enthusiastic uptake has prompted Lendlease to launch Watermans Residences, the third and final tower, ahead of schedule.

Boyle says buyers are drawn by what they believe to be a “once-in-a-generation” opportunity to live in an exclusive address with hotel-like amenities, which includes first-class concierge services.

If venturing out to the fine-dining establishments in your immediate neighbourhood doesn’t fit your plans, the on-site concierge has you covered.

“The concierge can arrange chefs to cook private meals for small groups in one of the One Sydney Harbour private dining rooms, or organise catering for a resident’s event to be held in the Residents’ Club,” Boyle says.

They can also organise your dry cleaning, housekeeping and home deliveries, as well as recommend a masseuse, book a beauty therapist or engage a personal trainer or yoga instructor to run a session for you at the One Sydney Harbour Gym.

Boyle says the idea is to provide the kind of lifestyle services rarely available in other Australian apartment buildings, with the added advantage of a brilliant urban lifestyle on the building’s threshold.

Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano, One Sydney Harbour has been benchmarked against the finest of Lendlease’s global portfolio to deliver a new living standard.

Boyle says the collaboration between Lendlease and Piano was integral to achieving the vision for a luxury aesthetic that will stand the test of time.

“Piano is the architect behind some of the world’s most celebrated buildings and is renowned for pushing the limits of building technology while using traditional materials and craftsmanship to produce iconic architecture,” she says.

Daniel Goldberg from State of Craft and Chris Darling, the founder and creative director of Darling Associates, are the inspired minds behind the interior design.

The designers have worked on interiors for some of London’s most sought-after, super-prime residences including One Hyde Park, the Chelsea Barracks, the Shard and One Tower Bridge, and were each able to bring a wealth of experience in high-end luxury residential fit-outs to Sydney.

“Each One Sydney Harbour residence is thoughtfully designed and carefully curated to truly embody the spirit of Sydney,” Boyle says.

Lendlease’s commitment to the Barangaroo precinct, more than 10 years in the making, has seen Sydney’s iconic waterfront become a world-class destination, Boyle says.

“One Sydney Harbour is the final piece of the incredible transformation of Barangaroo South, along with Hickson Park and Waterman’s Cove,” she says.

“These immersive public spaces include a public park, an expanded waterfront walkway and a public pier, [all] part of Lendlease’s dedication to delivering more than half of Barangaroo as open space for all to enjoy.”

Boyle says Watermans Residences represents the last opportunity for purchasers to secure an apartment in One Sydney Harbour at Barangaroo South, set on the doorstep of the CBD and within easy walking distance of some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

“Barangaroo South is our opportunity to make a difference by creating a place for workers, residents and visitors that we are truly proud of,” she says.

“The challenges of the future may be very different to those of today, so we are creating a place that is vibrant, resilient and economically and socially sustainable.”
