A wave of private islands have floated on to the Queensland market giving day dreaming buyers an ocean of choice.
Prices vary considerably for the slices of paradise from $30 million resorts to $850,000 secluded islands.

This is one of Queensland’s most expensive islands with price expectations in the $30 million range. The island is located 30 kilometres south-east of Cairns and comes with its own tourism resort on 4.3 hectares.

Two words you wouldn’t think you’d ever see together might be “island” and “bargain” – but Temple Island has to be an island bargain. It is located three kilometres from the central Queensland coastline and covers 8.7 hectares.

From the air there’s no surprises where this turtle-shaped island got its name. You can live like a king on Turtle Island, which comes with a mansion, private jetty and helipad. The 9.41-hectare island is located about an hour away from popular resorts, Lady Elliott and Heron Island.

Nestled in Queensland’s far north, a 2.4-hectare island resort is for sale, which has privates lodges, a pool and a tennis court. It is located next to 15 hectares of national park.
