A former Real Housewives of New York star is throwing open the doors to her stylish abode to give fans a taste of the high life.
Real Housewives alum Dorinda Medley has put her property Blue Stone Manor – a 1902 hilltop estate in Massachusetts – up on Airbnb for just $US100 ($135) per night.
The 1022-square-metre estate has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and sits on a picturesque seven hectares of land in the Berkshires, a rural region in the mountains of western Massachusetts, about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from New York.
“Exceptional spaces like this are meant to be shared,” Medley said of her decision to open up her home while away on a book tour. “Come here to toast with friends, old and new, and ‘make it nice’ at Blue Stone Manor.”
The home is best known as the idyllic setting of some of the show’s less-than-idyllic scenes, the listing notes.
For those who aren’t fans of the show, you can expect an expansive kitchen in which you can cook up a feast, large dining and living rooms, a billiards room, and plenty of fireplaces to curl up next to for a relaxing weekend away.
Unique details include jewel-clad peacocks, sea-shelled statues, a gothic-inspired bedroom, the dining room’s green hand-painted ceiling and gold-threaded curtains in the entry hall.
Those interested need to get in quick, with Medley set to take just two one-night bookings while she’s away promoting her memoir Make It Nice.
For those of us unable to hightail it to the US right now, Medley will also be hosting a virtual cocktail hour from her home. All proceeds are set to go to Ronald McDonald House New York.
