Listed on Zillow and EXP Realty LLC, the property is actually located in Fayetteville, Georgia in the U.S., as opposed to the show’s fictional suburb of Hawkins in Indiana.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 149 Coastline Road is instantly recognisable to fans, having been used as the pivotal location in the show’s debut.

Will (played by Noah Schnapp) lived in the property with his mother Joyce Byers (played by Winona Ryder) and his older brother Jonathan Byers.

His character disappears to another dimension, known as the “Upside Down”, and his family communicate to him by scrawling letters onto the wall of one of the rooms.

Throughout the series, a red filter was used during certain scenes for dramatic effect.

The single-level property is set amongst sparse land and is in need of a renovation.

Stranger Things takes place in 1980s Indiana and focuses on a group of friends who come face to face with supernatural forces and seek to unravel a number of mysteries.

The first season aired in 2016, and in February this year, a fifth season was confirmed.
