Sunrise news presenter Natalie Barr and her husband Andrew Thompson have made a last minute bid to make good this year’s Mosman property market, listing their home of the past two years for $3.8 million.
The Network Seven star hits the market at the same time as rival breakfast show host Georgie Gardner is set to take possession of a recently purchased house in nearby Beauty Point.
Barr’s four-bedroom Federation house hit the market on Monday with a December 6 auction set by Geoff Smith and Richard Harding, of Ray White Mosman.
The couple bought the Raglan Street property in early 2016 for $3,235,000 from Jones Lang Lasalle chief executive Stephen Conry.
At the time Barr and Thompson were trading over from the four-bedroom house on Calypso Avenue, selling it for $2,891,000, again through Smith and Harding.
Before and after images of the couple’s most recent home show there’s been a renovation since they bought it in February 2016. Set behind a separate garage and workshop, it has formal and informal lounge and dining rooms, and two home offices.
Meanwhile, Gardner and her husband Tim Baker sold their Federation bungalow in Artarmon for $4.2 million earlier this year to up-grade to Mosman given a budget of $6 million.
Gardner took up co-hosting duties next to Karl Stefanovic this year after Lisa Wilkinson left to join The Project at Ten.
