May The Force be with you.
Vacant land for sale in country Victoria will appeal to diehard Star Wars fans, with approved plans in place to build your own spaceship and interstellar dream home.
Launched onto the market in time for unofficial Star Wars Day, May the fourth, the plot of land at 131 Pipers Creek Road in Kyneton allows for the construction of an Imperial Light Cruiser-inspired home.
Listed by Brendan Milner and Tim Dixon of Ray White Bayswater with price hopes of $1,050,000 to $1,150,000, the design is the creation of seller Shyam Avatapalli and a team of specialist architects.
The buyer will not only get the land parcel of approximately 23,100 square metres, but also the approved plans and drawings, land capability assessment and soil report, as stated on the listing.
Futuristic images reveal the home’s design, to be constructed of standard Colourbond steel material in black, grey and white shades, and a roof at a 25 degree angle to resemble a spaceship.
Part of the exterior takes inspiration from a Boeing 747 plane, and the hallway resembles a spaceship tunnel.
“You’re either really going to like it or you’re not, but Star Wars has such massive appeal across all generations and I’ve always been interested in futuristic designs,” seller Shyam Avatapalli revealed in a Ray White press release.
“The design is intended to amalgamate a unique piece of aviation history into the house, while the water tank lighting design was inspired by spaceship jet engines with the blue and orange fire effect.”
Star Wars is a popular sci-fi franchise that has turned into a worldwide phenomenon.
