Romance and history abound, overlooking a jetty and Tassie’s natural wonders.

“Lettes Bay is a diverse collection of rustic shacks that is an important part of Strahan’s history. The earliest ‘shack’ is thought to have been constructed around 1890, the majority between the early 1920’s and late 1950’s,” the listing explains.

“Lettes Bay was thus created … most ‘shacks’ have and continue to be, modified.”

The property is described as “peaceful, beautiful and simply winding back time,” in the listing handled by Roberts Real Estate Burnie and agent Wendy van Balen.

The median house price in Hobart is $717,004, Domain’s September 2023 House Price Report shows.
