The final week of The Block is about to kick off and before we know it the teams will be packing up and heading home until auction time.
With the final Room Reveals this Sunday, it has been announced that auction day will follow on the next Sunday.
Here’s everything we know so far about this year’s auctions.
The five incredible family homes in Bronte Court will go under the hammer on Sunday, November 7, at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Scott Cam has revealed the cheating scandal will finally be put to bed because we are going to find out who took the photo.
“This has been by far the most heated season of The Block that I’ve ever worked on, and I’m not just talking about the Melbourne property market,” the host said in a statement.
“Auction day will be the first time our Blockheads come face to face since finishing their builds, and there are still plenty of unanswered questions about who took the photo.
“All the Blockheads have worked so hard this year to build five completely different three and four-bedroom family homes, so we’re really gunning for them to come home strong and win a life-changing amount of money. But as we know, anything can happen on auction day — it’s completely out of our control.”
Aside from the all-important auction order, which one team will be picking again this year after winning the Domain Super Power, the agents are the other big factor for auction.
Here’s which agents are representing the five houses on Bronte Court this year.
House 1: Jenny Dwyer and David Wood from Belle Property Sandringham
House 2: Michael Townsend, Tracey Paus and Josh Stirling from McGrath St Kilda
House 3: Jesse Raeburn and Christine Henderson from The Agency – Port Phillip
House 4: Kevin Chokshi and Elise Russell from Ray White Cheltenham
House 5: Halli Moore, John Rombotis and Michelle Gagêt from Buxton Real Estate Brighton
One team will take home a $100,000 prize on top of whatever profit their home makes above reserve on auction day.
The homes on Bronte Court range in price for a couple of reasons. House 1, House 2, House 3 and House 4 all have a guide ranging from $2.6 million to $2.8 million.
Over on the other side of the road, House 5 — which is the only two storey home this year — has a guide of $3.2 million to $3.4 million.
This year the team who finishes with the most points from the Room Reveals will score the Domain Super Power.
The winning team will win the power to determine the auction order and land their home on the front cover of the Domain magazine.
Ronnie and Georgia are currently sitting in the top spot, with a score of 304.5. With one Room Reveal to go this season, it’s looking very likely that the All Star couple will be calling the shots when it comes to auction.
