The house Dylan and Jenny renovated on The Block 2022 has finally sold, three months after it was passed in at auction.
House 4 was one of two properties not sold on auction day along with House 3, which was snapped up a week later.
“We can confirm House 4 has sold on The Block: Tree Change in Gisborne, in what is a positive outcome for everyone,” a Nine spokesperson said.
“Dylan and Jenny’s house is now a much loved property for a family who were impressed with the high standard of the build, and incredible views of the Macedon Ranges so close to Melbourne.
“All five properties on the most ambitious build in the history of The Block have now been sold. We look forward to starting the build on the next series of Channel 9’s The Block very soon.”
Dylan and Jenny renovated their Block property in a contemporary, country style with a family in mind.
It features a striking long hallway, sweet kids room, walk in wardrobe, pool, garden with bee hives and a wonderful sense of flow in the layout.
When bids at the auction of the house failed to reach the reserve of $4,080,000, the same as the other properties, the couple decided to pass it in in the hope they might make more profit with the house on the market.
Only Omar and Oz, Tom and Sarah-Jane and Rachel and Ryan’s houses sold on auction day, with House 5 taking out the win and a huge profit of $1,586,666.66 an $100,000 in prize money for winning.
Ankur and Sharon’s house sold the following week to entrepreneur Adrian Portelli, who had been in a bidding war with regular Block buyer Danny Wallis for Omar and Oz’s property, which Danny was successful in purchasing.
After the auction Dylan and Jenny headed back to their home on the Gold Coast to put the finishing touches on the house they are building and planning to sell.
They are also in final preparations for their wedding and Jenny recently celebrated her upcoming nuptials with a Hen’s weekend. The event was also a reunion for Jenny, Sarah-Jane and Rachel who flew up to Queensland for it.
